Sports Unlimited was back in Caliraya Resort Club with our sports champs, Southeast Asian Games golden trio taekwondo poomsae ladies Rani Ann Ortega, Camille Alarilla and Janice Lagman, along with SEAGames wushu gold medalist Mark Eddiva and dragon boat world champs Raymond Morales and Ramie Llano.

Hanging out with some of the country’s sports achievers is never dull. There’s always something to do. Even the simplest things turn out to level up in fun. Marc maxed out their trip to the beautiful Lake Caliraya with fun activities that brought out not only competitive spirits but the kids in them.

After toying with the giant earthball, it was time to climb the small hill for this swank mud slide. With almost 200 meters of downhill fun capped with a big splash into a mud pool, there really is no other slide like it in the country.

The weather was a bit chilly and the soapy water that they use to help you slide down was cold. But this did not dampen their spirits and in fact, they just went on and on. With Marc, it was not enough that he slid down, he slid down “Marc’s way,” going around, upside down, twisting and turning until he reached the mud pit.

From the fits of laughter playing with the giant earthball and the exciting zip lines, to a luncheon cruise treat on the lake and this terrific mudslide that brought out the kid in them, you'd think they would've had enough but they found something more-- a one-of-a kind-playground fit for champs.

Instead of the usual slides, swings and see-saw, Marc and the athletes stumbled on these exercise equipments here on the beautiful Caliraya outdoors. Marc and the champs just loved playing while getting some serious toning and cardio training.

Sports Unlimited’s day out with our sports heroes definitely was a refreshing break for our champs. It was a day full of fun, laughter and adventure. Plus, they even got to squeeze in a bit of training. It is always fun to be with these free-spirited athletes. They’re always game and ready to rumble the Sports Unlimited way!
