Supermodel Lisa S to visit PH for TV series
MANILA, Philippines – International model and TV personality Lisa Selesner will visit Manila this coming week to promote the latest season of her cable show “SupermodelMe.”
Selesner, who shortened her name to Lisa S, will meet members of the media on Monday, March 19.

The third season of the reality series “SupermodelMe” premiered across Asia on March 13. In the Philippines, it is being aired every Tuesday at 10 p.m. on cable channel KIX (SkyCable Channel 63).
In the show, 12 aspiring models will undergo grueling challenges as they vie for the title of winner of the third season of “SupermodelMe,” which expanded its 30-minute format to an hour.
Selesner is the new host of the series, where she be the role model, mentor and judge to the girls as they battle through action-based challenges designed by champion mixed martial arts fighter Mitch Chilson as well as photo challenges with some of Asia's top professionals in the fashion industry.
A cast of international celebrity hosts, guests and judges will also be part of this season’s line-up, including some of Asia’s celebrities such as Dominic Lau, Utt, Qi Qi, Ana Rivera and Ase Wang.
No stranger to fashion
Selesner is no stranger to the business of aesthetic and the world of fashion, having spent more than a decade in the world of beauty and international modelling.
Born in Monaco to a French-Chinese father and Jewish-American mother, she grew up in New York where she was talent-scouted to be a model when she was only 14.
In 2000, Selesner moved to Hong Kong where she became a top model who lent her exotic looks to high-fashion catwalks and consumer commercials for brands like Citibank, DeBeers diamonds, and Olay skincare. Her striking looks and business savvy extended her to several offers, including assignments with major designer labels like Yohji Yamamoto, Vivienne Westwood, Dior and Chanel.
Her modelling experience also landed her high-profile gigs in three Hong Kong movies: “Silver Hawk,” “Rob-B-Hood” and “A Mob Story.”
Selesner has since diversified her activities, landing her positions as host for a variety of major events and television programs such as the Asian Film Awards, “Ebuzz,” “E! News Asia” and Channel V.
